Dangers of Blogger
- Search Engines list you - What you publish may be read by people you don't wish to have contact with because search engines like Google, Yahoo, MSN and Bing will list your blog according to keywords.
- Your content is public - What you post, for example, photos can be viewed by not just you but EVERYONE on the internet, so post with caution. ^_^
- You don't know who views your content - Stalkers/ perverts/ pedophiles who view your blog do not leave any trace of a visit, so be sure to secure your content as much as possible, if not, information that's private might be known by people you don't know.
Cyber Wellness Tips
1) Use a creative nickname like "crazywitch"
2) Do not share personal information
3) Do not reveal too much about yourself
4) Do not respond to messages from people you don't know
5) Beware of content shared
Inspirational use of Blogger
Blogger can be a very useful web communication tool with proper usage.
Here are some ideas on how to use it wisely!
- Blog with caution - There are many pedophiles and perverts out there looking for their next target. Be wary and try to protect yourself by not revealing personal information, like your name, mobile number, address, age and gender.
- Blog about things you like - Blog about what you truly like and are interested in. If not, there would be no meaning in blogging.
- Blog with an anonymous identity - Choose a unique username to post on your blog. Some suggestions: sweepingfloornow, tiredofhomework, crazy_human, explodingbomb, toiletcleaner
